What happens in therapy?

You are encouraged to talk freely about your feelings, whatever they may be. This is hard at first but gets easier.

Who has therapy?

People come to psychotherapy for many different reasons, normally because they are finding life difficult and their usual ways of coping are no longer working.

ICC Psychotherapy has been providing professional, evidence-based psychotherapy in London for over forty years.

At the heart of ICC Psychotherapy, our referral service is as straightforward as possible and allows you to speak directly to a qualified referral therapist from the first contact.

All our psychotherapists are professionally qualified and experienced in psychoanalytic, psychodynamic or group psychotherapy. They are registered to practise with either the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) or with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

For your convenience, we have a consulting room near the City and psychotherapists who work from their own rooms all over London. We provide both in-person and online therapy. Some of our members are registered with insurance companies.

As a registered charity, we also operate a means-tested clinic for people who cannot afford to pay a full fee. ICC Psychotherapy has always believed that good-quality psychotherapy should be widely accessible.

We have explicit policies for Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, and Complaints. For more information click here

In order to operate our reduced-fee clinic we appreciate donations to help with the costs. Please click here to donate.
